Objective of APSMFC Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to minority students to reduce dropout rates, promote education, and support socio-economic development. Types of Scholarships:

Pre-Matric Scholarship

Classes 1–5: ₹150 per month for 10 months (day scholars); ₹350 per month for 10 months (hostellers) plus ₹750–₹1,000 as an ad-hoc grant per year.
Classes 6–8: ₹600 per year (day scholars); ₹800 per year (hostellers).
Classes 9–10: ₹800 per year (day scholars); ₹1,000 per year (hostellers).
Post-Matric Scholarship
Supports higher education for minority students, enabling them to pursue professional and academic courses without financial constraints. Promotes access to prominent institutions (e.g., IIT Tirupati, IIM Visakhapatnam) and reduces financial barriers for SC, ST, BC, EBC, and minority students.
Reimbursement of Tuition Fees (RTF): Full reimbursement of tuition, special fees, exam fees, and other non-refundable fees as per government orders. Credited directly to the college’s account.
Maintenance Charges (MTF):
ITI Students: ₹10,000 per year.
Polytechnic Students: ₹15,000 per year.
Degree and Above: ₹20,000 per year for food and hostel expenses.
Disbursed monthly, subject to 75% attendance.
Eligibility Criteria for APSMFC Scholarship
Pre-Matric Scholarship
1. Applicable Classes: Students studying in Class 1 to Class 10 in government or recognized private schools.
2. Community: Must belong to a minority community (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, or Zoroastrians/Parsis).
3. Income Limit: Parent/guardian’s annual income must not exceed ₹1 lakh.
4. Residency: Permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh are eligible, including those studying outside the state.
5. Other Scholarships: Students must not be receiving any other government scholarship or stipend.
6. Attendance: Minimum 75% attendance required.
7. Family Limit: Up to two students from one family can apply.
Post-Matric Scholarship
1. Applicable Courses: Students pursuing studies from Class 11 to PhD, including technical/vocational courses at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), Industrial Training Centers (affiliated with NCVT), and other courses not covered under Merit-cum-Means Scholarships.
2. Community: Must belong to a minority community as defined above.
3. Income Limit: Parent/guardian’s annual income typically should not exceed ₹2 lakh (subject to specific scheme guidelines).
4. Institution: Must be enrolled in government or recognized private colleges/institutions.
5. Attendance: Minimum 75% attendance required for fee reimbursement and maintenance charges.
6. Residency: Permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh, including those studying outside the state, are eligible.
Application Process
1. Visit the official APSMFC website (www.apsmfc.com) or the Jnanabhumi portal (jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in).
2. Navigate to the Scholarship section and click on the application link.
3. Fill out the online application form with personal, academic, and bank details.
4. Submit the completed application online.
5. Download the application form, get it signed by the school principal, and submit it to the District Minorities Welfare Officer or APSMFC office through the school.
6. The school verifies the details and forwards the application to APSMFC.
7. After verification, the scholarship amount is credited to the student’s bank account.
8. Submit the signed JSAF to the college principal, who verifies and uploads it on the Jnanabhumi portal.
9. For students studying outside Andhra Pradesh, applications are submitted directly to the Dedicated Cell, Government of India Scholarships, 6th Floor, A.P. Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad.
10. Upon approval, the scholarship amount (RTF and MTF) is credited to the college and student’s bank account, respectively.
Renewal Process
1. Students who previously received the scholarship must apply for renewal each year.
2. Log in to the Jnanabhumi portal, update academic details, and submit the renewal application with biometric authentication via the Mee Seva portal.
3. Renewal requires a minimum 75% attendance and satisfactory academic performance.
