The Prime Minister's Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2024 is a government initiative aimed at providing valuable internship opportunities to young Indians. This program offers 12-month internships in top 500 companies across various sectors, giving participants hands-on experience and skill development.
Eligible candidates must have completed at least high school or equivalent education and may hold diplomas or undergraduate degrees. However, graduates from IITs, IIMs, and holders of higher qualifications (like MBBS, CA, or MBA) are excluded, and applicants should not have family members in government service or a family income exceeding ₹8 lakh.

Eligibility Criteria for PM Internship Scheme
Educational Qualification:
Individuals who have completed their 10th or 12th grade, ITI, graduates, holders of Polytechnic diplomas, as well as those possessing degrees such as BA, BCom, BPharm, among others.
Age Requirement:
Candidates must be at least 21 years to 24 years.
Non-Eligibility:
Individuals who are postgraduates, students from esteemed institutions such as IIT, NIT, and IIM, as well as graduates in MBA, CS, CA, and MBBS are not qualified for this internship.
PM Internship Scheme: Stipend and Financial Support
Interns under the PM Internship Scheme will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 throughout the 12-month duration of the internship. This stipend is funded through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions of the participating companies, with Rs 500 provided by the company and Rs 4,500 from the government.
