B.O.Therapy is a three-year course. The course has been structured to focus on practices of prevention and cure along with rehabilitation. It teaches the students to tackle physical, emotional as well as mental problems of students and provide a universal cure for the problem or disease.
B.O.Th course also focuses on the usage of alternative medicine methods and the use of speech-language therapy, audiology, physical therapy, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for B.O Therapy
1. Applicants must have a 10+2 qualification from a recognized board on any stream.
2. Applicants must achieve at least 50% to 60% of the points in the relevant proficiency tests.
3. SC/ST candidates can apply for a combined 40% proficiency test score.
4. Applicants must not be younger than 17 at the time of application.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
Career after B.O. Therapy
After completing B.O.Th course, students can work as professional Occupation Therapists and Occupation Therapy Assistants. The key role of Occupation Therapists is to provide support through physical and cognitive treatments.
Occupational therapists can work in hospitals and schools, designing and implementing customised treatment plans for their clients. They could also work in research or administration. They can also establish their own private practices, undertake research, and work for non-profit organisations.
