Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor in Event Management (BEM)
1. Minimum qualification necessary for a diploma in hotel/hospitality management is 10+2 from a recognised board.
2. Candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at 10+2 level.
3. There is an age limit prescribed by a few institutes that provide part-time BBA degrees.
4. Candidates should have aggregate marks of 40% to 60% in the graduate degree.
Admission Process
1. Basic education of 10+2 from a recognised institution with any stream with 45-50% marks.
2. Colleges and universities accept admission in two ways: merit-based and entrance-based. So, if a college or university decides to admit students based on merit, which is determined only by the student’s performance in the 12th-grade examination.
3. Another method is that some colleges/universities employ entrance tests to choose students. Applicants must obtain good grades to gain admission to a school or university.
4. Entrance to the PGDM and PGPM services will be based on CAT, MAT, CMAT, and other tests.
