MMC (Master of Mass Communication) is a two-year master's program. This course ensures that the students are able to use the skills and experience they gained in the areas of journalism, mass communication, advertising, public relations, event management, etc in a more effective and critical manner.
The necessary syllabus includes disciplines such as Introduction to Mass Communication, Print Media, Principles of Mass Communication, Media Research, and TV Journalism. In the MJMC programme, students will also be able to pursue courses in specific areas of specialisation, such as Film-Making, Corporate Relations or Communications, industry-specific journalism, and much more.

Eligibility Criteria for MMC (Master of Mass Communication)
1. Successful completion of graduation in any course stream like B.Sc./BA from a recognized university/college.
2. Candidates must have a degree with a minimum aggregate in Science Social Science/Humanities or any other equivalent course.
3. The candidate must have also scored an aggregate score of 50% at the level of graduation
4. A reduction has been in place for the SC/ST students up to 45% which can be availed if the students have the required documentation to prove their claim.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish admission notices on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
6. Documents like mark sheets, photographs, signatures and transfer certificates must be scanned and uploaded online to the portal.
7. All documents must be in a specific format and size only to be accepted.
8. Various Entrance Exams such as CUCET, PAT, State University, Central University etc are conducted to enrol students for courses.
