The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts the NIFT Entrance Examination every year for admission to its undergraduate (Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Fashion Technology) and post-graduate courses in Fashion.
NIFT score is applicable for admission to courses offered at 16 campuses of the NIFT at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Gandhinagar, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kannur, Raebareli, Shillong, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Patna, Mumbai, Srinagar, and New Delhi.

1. Students should have passed the 10+2 exam from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination.
2. Students should hold a 3 or 4-year diploma in any branch of Engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
3. The candidate should be less than 23 years as of 1st August 2022. Candidates who belong to reserved categories will get five years of relaxation.
4. Students appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also take NIFT.
