Law School Admission Test (LSAT) - India is an entrance exam conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. The LSAT or the Law School Admission Test is an entrance exam required for admission to most law schools.
The LSAC Global council will be conducting LSAT India 2023 in two sessions. The exam for the 1st session will be held from May 29 onwards in multiple slots. It may be noted that earlier, the law entrance exam for the second session was to be conducted from June 14 onwards.
LSAT India 2023 is a law entrance test taken conducted once every year by Pearson VUE on behalf of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), the United States of America. LSAT is the gateway for admission into BA LLB, LLM or LLB courses offered by various Law Schools in India.
LSAT India is a standardized test with a uniform pattern and single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses, three-year LLB courses, LLM courses, or PhD courses in Law. Candidates can take the exam for admission to more than 85 private law colleges in India.

Eligibility Criteria for LSAT
1. 3-year LLB program: The candidate should have completed a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
2. 5-year integrated law program: Candidates must have completed class 12 from a recognized board or institution.
3. LLM program: The candidates should have completed a graduate degree in law.

How to apply for LSAT India 2023
1. To register, click on the application link. To complete the application form, enter your name, email id, mobile number, pin code, and academic details.
2. Fill out your personal information, communication details, course preference (8 choices allowed), colleges where you want to apply, and exam centres. Note that a maximum of 3 centres can be selected in the order of priority.
3. Upload documents like the photograph and signature must be uploaded as per the prescribed specifications.
4. Pay the application fee can be paid online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking.
LSAT Exam Pattern
The scores are measured on a percentile basis and the duration is comparatively lesser than the test held in the US and Canada. Besides, the LSAT-India is valid in India only and is administered by Pearson VUE. Delhi, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata are some of the 24 locations where the test is conducted.
