National Testing Authority (NTA) is the authority that holds responsible for conducting JEE Main 2025 exam. It is the most popular and one of the most prestigious engineering entrance exams in India. Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE-Main) is an examination organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India.
This national-level competitive test is for admission to various undergraduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the JEE-Main score, mainly National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

JEE Main Exam Date 2025 and Schedule
My Careers View will provide the NTA JEE Main 2025 exam dates after the official announcement. Candidates who are looking to appear in this exam need to make sure they are eligible and fill and submit the application form before the last date. The application process will take place in online mode. The complete details related to the JEE Main 2025 are provided in this post.
JEE Main 2025 Phase I (February) has been scheduled for February 23-26, 2025. As confirmed by the official notification, JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in four sessions i.e. in February, March, April, and May. The registration form correction window has been closed.
NTA will release JEE Main Admit Card in the 2nd week of February 2025. This year, JEE Main has some changes, and the Paper 1 (B.Tech) exam will be conducted four times, i.e., February, March, April, and May. Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch & B.Planning) will be conducted in Phase 1 & Phase 4.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria
It is very important for aspiring candidates to make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. Given below are the eligibility criteria in order to apply for JEE Main 2025 exam.
General Eligibility -
1. Indian Nationals/ International Applicants are eligible to apply. International applicants must obtain the necessary marks which are prescribed by AIU to be eligible for JEE Main.
2. There is no attempt limit prescribed to apply for JEE Main. Students applying for B.E/ B.Tech admission must 1 passed with 5 subjects in 12th level – Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects along with Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or any other technical vocational as optional subject.
3. Students applying for B.Plan admission, must have passed 12th level with Mathematics as a mandatory subject.
4. Students applying for B.Arch admission, must have passed 12th level with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects.
5. Also, those having diplomas are also eligible to apply. These students are eligible for admission in IITs only.
State of Eligibility -
1. Candidates must fill the state code of eligibility during the registration process. Students must choose the state code of eligibility from which they have qualified for their Intermediate exam.
2. Indian nationals who will pass 12th level from an institution situated abroad their state code of eligibility will be determined as per their mentioned permanent address of India given in the passport.
3. It will not be dependent on the residence or native place of the candidate.
Age Criteria -
1. There are no age limit criteria prescribed for the candidates for appearing in the exam.
2. Irrespective of age, candidates who have passed their 12th (Intermediate) or its equivalent in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 are eligible to apply.
3. Students must note that they have to fulfill the age criteria as prescribed by the Institution they are taking admission to.
4. Candidates should have scored more than 75% marks in 10+2 or should be among the top 20 percentile candidates, from their respective board. (Not applicable for admission in the academic year starting from 2025).
5. For SC/ ST aspirants, the minimum percentage criterion is 65% or among the top 20 percentiles. (Not applicable for admission in the academic year starting from 2025).
JEE Main 2025 Application Form
1. JEE Main 2025 registration will be released on the official website.
2. The JEE Main application form 2023 will be available on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
3. The JEE Main 2025 registration process includes filling out the online registration form, uploading documents, application fee payment, and submission.
4. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility details carefully before doing the JEE Main application form.
Given below are the steps by which you can apply for the JEE Main exam.
1. To start the application process you need to visit the official website of NTA.
2. On the official website, candidates have to register by giving a few of their basic details like name, phone number, email address, etc.
3. Once registered, the login credentials will be generated for the candidates.
4. The aspirants need to sign in using the credentials created at the time of registration.
5. Now, the main application form will appear on your screen. In the main application form, aspirants will be asked to provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
6. In addition to the details, applicants will also be required to upload the scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
7. All candidates are also required to pay the necessary application fee.
8. Finally, the candidates should take a printout of the application form submitted.

JEE Main 2023 Exam pattern
JEE Main will be held in online computer-based test mode. However, the drawing test of paper 2 will be held in pen and paper mode. There will be two papers in JEE Main Paper I for B.E/ B.Tech and Paper II for B.Arch & B.Plan. A time of 3 hrs will be provided to complete the paper. For PWD candidates 1 hour will be provided extra.

JEE Main 2025 Admit Card
1. Once the application form submission process gets completed, Go to the official website of JEE Main 2025.
2. Click on the admit card link. The admit card will release in online mode through the official website of NTA.
3. Choose ‘Through application number and password’. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards by providing their registration details.
4. The details about the examination venue and schedule will be mentioned on their admit card.
5. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination venue without an admit card and one photo ID proof.
