Company Secretary is a 3-year course. The Company Secretary course (CS) is offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), set up under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 to regulate the profession of company secretaries in India. Eligibility Criteria for Company Secretary (CS)
1. Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate computer & software courses need to complete their 10+2 in science from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
2. Courses after 12th is an available option available for students who have completer their 12th standard.
3. students who want to pursue the diploma course from any recognized institute should need to have a minimum class of +10 or +12.

Admission Process
1. The CS Foundation exam has been replaced by the CSEET exam. Students pursuing the Company Secretary course after the 12th need not appear for the CSEET exam to get admission.
2. Students who wish to pursue Company Secretary Course after graduation are exempted from passing the CSEET.
3. To get admission into the CS executive programme (first level), candidates need to qualify in the national-level Company Secretary Executive Entrance test (CSEET).
4. A direct admission route is also available to eligible candidates. Thereafter they must qualify for the CS professional course.
