BPSC Selection Procedure

The selection procedure includes the examination process which will be held for the purpose of selecting candidates for BPSC Exam 2023. There will be three stages in the exam after which the candidate will get the chance to serve Bihar Public Service Commission.

BPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2023

1. The candidate will be given 150 questions that they have to complete within 120 minutes on an OMR-based sheet.

2. Multiple choice-based objective-type questions will be included in the BPSC 2022 prelims and there is no negative marking.

3. The candidates can take the exam in three languages: English, Hindi, and Urdu as per convenience.

BPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2023

1. There will be four papers in the main exam which is named for General Studies Paper I, General Studies Paper II, General Hindi & one Optional Paper.

2. The weightage of the exam will be 900 marks.

3. 3 hours of time will be allotted for every paper to the candidate.

1. The conducting authority will release the admit card 15 days before the commencement of the BPSC Exam.

2. Candidates will be able to download the admit card only if they have submitted the application form and paid the application fee.
