Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (APLAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to law courses offered at Andhra Pradesh Universities and their affiliated colleges.
The exam was conducted in online mode for admission to 3-year and 5-year integrated LLB courses offered by participating law colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP LAWCET is conducted once annually. AP LAWCET will be conducted across 16 centres of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria for AP LAWCET
1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
2. Age Limit: The age limit is subject to the rule position at the time of admission.
3. Domicile: Candidates must have a domicile certificate from Andhra Pradesh.
For 3 Year Law course
1. Qualification: Candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognized board.
2. Marks Criteria: Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
For 5 Year Law Course
1. Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th and 12th classes from any recognized board.
2. Marks Criteria: Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying examination.

Those belonging to the BC category need to have at least 42% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam. |

AP LAWCET 2024 Application Form
1. Applicants have to visit the official website www.aplawcet.org to apply for AP LAW Examination.
2. The application form will release from the last week of February and will be available till the last week of April 2024 (without a late fee)
3. The application fee for the AP LAWCET examination is Rs.450/-
4. Candidates must upload the scanned image of passport size photograph and signature.
5. The fee payment can be made through two modes.
6. The first mode is to pay through debit, credit card, net banking or the designated AP online centres.

How to download AP LAWCET Admit Card 2024
1. Go to the official portal
2. Click on the AP LAWCET admit card 2023 download link
3. A log-in window will open
4. Enter registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number, and date of birth
5. On log-in, the admit card will be displayed on the screen
6. Download and take a printout of the admit card
AP LAWCET Exam Pattern
1. Examination Mode: The examination will be conducted online mode.
2. Time Duration: A total of 90 minutes will be provided to the candidates.
3. Language: The examination will be conducted in English and Telugu language.
4. Total Questions: A total of 120 questions will be asked in the question paper.
5. Marking scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded.
6. Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
AP LAWCET is conducted for admission to both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programs. Both entrance tests have a common exam pattern as given below.

The AP LAWCET results were announced on the official website. There is a separate Rank List for 3 years and 5 years of courses. The marks obtained by the candidates will be valid for taking admission in 3-year/5-year LL.B programs in the law colleges of Andhra Pradesh.
