Eligibility Criteria for B.A Fashion and Apparel Design
1. Aspirants who have cleared their Class 12 from any stream (Science/ Commerce/ Arts) can pursue a Fashion Design course at the graduation level.
2. However, most popular Design colleges allow candidates to take part in their admission process only if they have completed their schooling from a recognised board.
3. For Fashion Designing at the postgraduate level, aspirants who have completed a Design course at the graduation level are preferred for admission.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
