MPH (Master in Public Health EPIDEMIOLOGY) is a two-year course. The MPH program is designed to provide students with critical multidisciplinary training to help solve global public health problems. MPH program is to provide students with a population perspective on health and build knowledge and skills to perform as effective managers, leaders or administrators in health systems, both in the public and private sectors.
The core courses include Introduction to Public Health, Basics in Epidemiology, Basic Biostatistics, Demography, Social and Behavioral Sciences in Health, Environmental and Occupational Health, Health Systems & Public Health Programs, Health Management, Health Economics, Financing & Policy, Research Methods, Public Health Nutrition, Communicable Diseases, Non-communicable Diseases, Scientific Writing – Proposal, Protocol development, and Report Writing.

Eligibility Criteria for MPH (Master in Public Health EPIDEMIOLOGY)
1. Candidates with graduate qualifications in Medicine, AYUSH, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, and Allied and Health Sciences are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.
3. They must have a minimum aggregate of 55% to qualify for the program.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark as the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
